Dining Table with Benches

This set was made from one entire section of the tree about forty feet up. The boards were cut one on top of the other all the way through the log. The concept of this set was to show how to get from a log to a finished set of furniture by opening up the log. The top of the table is the first four boards, the next two form the tops to the benches, the next two form the vertical supports for the table, the next board is the vertical supports for the benches and the last board forms the stretcher for the table base.
